Today was Daniel's last day of preschool until the Fall. His class put on a production for family! It was very sweet! The following videos are for you Mom.... wish you could have been there!

Oh... and if it seems like something is wrong with your volume... NOPE! These kids more whispered the songs than sang! :)

Daniel is on the far right... top row! Be sure to notice his "pee pee" dance and the picking of his nose in the first video!

Yesterday, the youngest child of Steven Curtis Chapman was tragically killed in an accident at their home. Maria Sue, 5 years old, was struck by a SUV driven by her older brother. The Chapman family has done so much to raise adoption awareness. They have adopted three daughters from China.

Chapman and his wife MaryBeth founded The Shaohannah’s Hope Ministry after bringing their first adopted daughter, Shaohannah, home from China. The ministry’s goal is to help families reduce the financial barrier of adoption, and has provided grants to over 1700 families wishing to adopt orphans from around the world.

I can't begin to imagine the grief this family must be experiencing. My prayers are with their family during this horrific time.

Naomi was "Re-adopted"

We had a court date last Monday to "re-adopt" Naomi! This basically just gives her a California birth certificate! It was sweet and fun! Judge Aronson was really nice... He let Daniel hit his gavel and stand on his desk! When Daniel jumped off his desk into my arms, he laughed and said Daniel was the first person to ever "jump off his desk!"

Really... does it get better than this!!!

Everything To Me

This Sat. is a day to remember "birth mothers." Those of us who have adopted a child, or are adopted... no doubt think of this person more than just on this day. I think of Naomi's birth mother and pray for her everyday. I can't begin to imagine what she has experienced... I just wish she could know how much Naomi is loved and how happy she is! I will forever be grateful for the opportunity we have been given to love and raise this precious child.

We had a HOT and fun weekend! T-ball on Saturday... the water park on Sunday! Daniel is loving t-ball, even though he seems very slow to warm up to it all! It is SO cute to watch him!

Naomi had her first experience with the water park! Our little water baby loved it! After starting out kind-of "crabby"... she started to really get into the water! I see many more days spent here! :) It was even more fun because Joe, Monica, Catherine & Luca met us there!!!
